Now, you will be picked up for a visit to Cellular Jail, completed in 1906, which hints at its past as a British penal colony and is now a memorial to Indian independence activists. Next, you will visit 1943 Flag Point, which is one of the best places for photography in Port Blair. And then, you’ll enjoy the famous light and sound show at Cellular Jail. Later, return back to the hotel for an overnight stay. Optional Visit: If time permits, you can also choose to visit the Ross Island which is a short boat ride away. The island presently houses the ruins of old buildings like the Chief Commissioner’s House, Government House, Church, Bakery, Press, Swimming Pool, Cemetery, etc.
